Mesh Mashup

For this weeks project, we had to create 10 different 3d models that are composed of 2 or more components mixed together. Here are some of my works:

"Terminator Giant" - Suddenly it's not so gentle anymore.

"Easter Walker" - These statues could just get up and have legs this whole time.

"Statue of Selfie" - This statue represents America much more than the original.

"Uhandsil" - All purpose utensil.

"Arr Destroyer" - What space pirates could really look like.

"Catcake" - The cake memes already peaked, but I still had to add this on the list.

"Beetlecopter" - Lives up to the bumble bee nickname. Getting called punch buggy on this would suck.

"AT-AT-Rex" - It even has the T-rex roar mechanic.

"Airship" - Imagine doing a barrel roll.

"Economy Falcon" - Its no millennium, but it will do.

Objectified Documentary Response.

The object I decided to make from the documentary "Objectified" was an IPod classic. I chose this because of how they described the design of apple products for its simplistic and minimalistic look. An example was how to connect to the product. In this case, everything defers to the wheel for navigation. Another thing was how streamlining the design so that one part can do the job of six parts. Only highlighting whats important to the functionality of the product. I also owned one of these and it was one of my favourite possessions at the time.

My first 3D model

Today I started my 3D Object Design class. I have been wanting to work with 3D models for a while, mostly to help with background drawings. Here is my first model test run.

The exercise was to build a house or any structure and I decided to create a castle. Time was limited so I was only able to do the walls. This will definitely help a lot for my future conceptual drawings or storyboarding.

Thanks for tuning in.
